Miami University announces 2018 President's Distinguished Service Award recipients
Seventeen students will receive the President's Distinguished Service Award on April 15. Pictured above are this year's recipients, appearing alphabetically left-to-right as identified below in a bulleted list.Miami University President Gregory Crawford will honor 17 students whose service through campus life, community service, intellectual and cultural leadership or student employment demonstrate the spirit of being a citizen leader of uncommon quality.

Bearded Lady Project comes to Miami to shake up gender-based stereotypes of geoscientists
Beginning on March 29, the Department of Geology and Environmental Earth Science and the Karl E. Limper Geology Museum will be hosting an exhibit entitled, "The Bearded Lady Project: Challenging the Face of Science" in Shideler Hall. The exhibit, free and open to the public, runs through June 11

Miami University hosts Midwest Sport and Exercise Psychology Symposium
Miami University hosted the 29th annual Midwest Sport and Exercise Psychology Symposium (MSEPS) in collaboration with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, an international sport psychology association. The MSEPS is a conference organized primarily by graduate students for students to present their research.
