First-year art education and arts management co-major Isabella Obradovich just saw her art displayed in public for the first time ever.
ArtScape in Lebanon, Ohio, put Obradovich’s work next to that of recent Miami alumni, Katrina Shafor, who serves on the gallery’s board of directors. Shafor curated the show.
Associate professor of art, Stephanie Danker, connected Obradovich to Shafor.
“[Danker] said I would be a great fit to showcase in it,” Obradovich said.
She visited her art in-person with her professor Terry Haynes and Danker. The three met up with Shafor there to walk through the exhibition.
“It was so so cool!” Obradovich said. “This was a surreal experience for me!”
Beautiful job, Obradovich!
