Spring Registration

Spring registration will open for all students this month. Check BannerWeb for your date. If you have any questions about course selection, please reach out to Lesley Sawhook.

December Graduation

Master's degree candidates who are eligible to graduate in December 2019 or January 2020 are welcome to participate in the December 13 ceremony. December candidates must complete all necessary requirements, other than final exams, by November 29, 2019. Students wishing to graduate next month must apply for graduation by November 1. More commencement information is available online.

Career Services

Miami University’s Center for Career Exploration & Success provides a number of services for Miami students and alumni. Whether you’re interested in finding your first school district position or wish to position yourself for a better one, Miami can help. Programs include Basic Interviewing SkillsResume Labs and others that will help prepare students for the 2020 Teacher Job Fair and other job interviews. There are also many other career services as well that we encourage our students to explore.

Intervention Specialist Position Available

Mercy McAuley High School is currently seeking a full or part-time Intervention Specialist to start immediately or for the second semester of 2019-2020. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to Ms. Kendra Smith at smithk@mercymcauley.org.

Autism and Mental Health Guest Speaker

Jessica Minahan, M.Ed., BCBA will be on campus November 4. She will be giving a talk entitled "Reducing Anxiety & Defiant  Behavior in People with Autism." Participants may expect to learn easy to implement preventive tools, strategies, and interventions for reducing anxiety, increasing self-regulation, accurate thinking, and self-monitoring in people with autism.
