Biography
Gina Dutro joined Miami University's Farmer School of Business in 2014 and brings 25 years of industry experience in executive management and marketing. Promoted to Associate Lecturer in July of 2022 and currently serving as Curriculum and Faculty Lead for BUS 102 Foundations of Business Communication in the First Year Integrated Core. Delivers excellence in the classroom by leveraging practical business experience and engaging and preparing students for an exciting career in business. Industry education experience includes the design and development of curriculum in management, marketing, sales and organizational behavior.
25 year business career includes senior level management and marketing leadership roles with a focus on new business development and client engagement with corporate leadership. Prior to joining Miami University, managed Fortune 500 clients in the mid-west sales region for Gartner, Inc., a premier global research and advisory firm in the technology industry. Responsible for all client engagement, communication and interaction to grow territory revenue and expand client relationships.
15 year tenure in a STARTUP technology consulting and corporate education. Led the development of a North American corporate education services division targeting Fortune 500 clients. Experienced a high rate of growth and focused on delivering custom education services to large clients across the U.S., Canada and Europe. Served as Regional Director for 10 years and continued classroom delivery for large key accounts during senior management tenure. As Branch Manager of Consulting in Dallas, Texas, grew the consulting practice by number of consultants and expanded the client portfolio to include several Fortune 500 organizations.
