Rajib Dutta is an Assistant Professor in the Department at the Richard T. Farmer School of Business, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Dr. Dutta received his PhD in Supply Chain Management from the Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas. Dr. Dutta’s primary research interest focuses on exploring real-world issues in healthcare operations and supply chain management. Drawing on his previous experience as a practicing physician and health informatics scientist, his research examines how health information technology can be leveraged to re-imagine healthcare operations and how the inter-relationships among medical manufacturers/suppliers, healthcare organizations, and healthcare providers impact performance outcomes in the healthcare delivery supply chain. His research has received recognition at top operations and supply chain management conferences such as the Decision Sciences Institute annual conference. Dr. Dutta has also been the recipient of research grants in academia and in the healthcare supply chain industry.
