Emily Akil serves as the Assistant Director of Global Business Programs in the Farmer School of Business. In this role, she develops business-focused study abroad programs, provides study abroad advising to students, manages the divisional transfer credit process for study abroad courses, and serves as liaison to the academic advising office. Emily also manages the China Business Program/Business in the Global Market certificate program. Additional interest areas include diversity initiatives (co-developed FSB Passport Program) and educational access. Emily completed both her undergraduate degree in Visual Journalism and master's degree is Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel at Kent State University.
