Academic Advising

News and Updates

The Farmer School of Business Student Services Office remains open and able to assist students with their advising and registration needs. However, some of our processes will need to change as we consider the health and well-being of the Miami University community in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Health and safety remains our top priority and in an effort to reduce interaction as much as possible we intend to provide students the opportunity to conduct advising appointments over Google Hangouts video call.

Meet with Your Advisor

Students may schedule an appointment to meet with their assigned Academic Advisor in 1022 FSB or online using Navigate. All advising appointments will be remote for the Spring semester.

Schedule an Advising Appointment

*When scheduling the appointment, please provide a cell phone number and note that all appointments are in Eastern Time. Your advisor will contact you via Google Chat video call on your Miami email address at your scheduled appointment time (let your advisor know if you need to use a different platform).

Drop In Advising

Drop-ins occur Monday through Friday from 1:00pm-4:00pm Eastern Time. All Drop-In advising is first-come, first-serve with the first available advisor. Drop-In advising will be remote for the Spring semester.
