Confucius China Studies Program sponsored by Hanban
In order to foster deep understanding of China and the Chinese culture among people from around the world, enable the prosperous growth of China studies, promote the sustainable development of Confucius Institutes, and enhance the friendly relationship between China and people with different cultural backgrounds, the Confucius Institute Headquarters has set up the “Confucius China Studies Program”.
The Program consists of six subprograms in the academic areas of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Scholarships sponsored by Hanban for students
In order to support the development of Confucius Institutes, to facilitate Chinese language promotion and Chinese cultural transmission in the world, and to cultivate qualified Chinese language teachers and talented students of Chinese language, the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban is launching the “Confucius Institute Scholarship” program to provide financial aid for students, scholars and Chinese language teachers worldwide to complete a Chinese language studies program in Chinese universities or study in majors such as Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History and Chinese Philosophy.

China Visit Program (Summer/Winter Term)
Miami students are invited to join the China Visit Program during summer term or winter term. During this two-week program, students have the opportunity to experience Chinese culture and language in Modern China.
"Chinese Bridge" Summer Camp for High School Students
The "Chinese Bridge Summer Camp for American High School Students" is sponsored by Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters in cooperation with various Confucius Institutes in the United States. This camp is for American high school students learning Chinese to experience Chinese language and culture for two weeks during the summer.
The Chinese Bridge Summer Camp starts recruiting students in January every year.
