As the seasons begin to change from summer to fall, the new fitness schedule also brings many new opportunities to be active at work this semester.

Online Waiver!
Our employee wellness program waiver is now online!  Please take a moment and fill out an updated waiver, even if you completed a paper version in the fitness room or group fitness class in the past.  This waiver is required prior to participating in any wellness program and will be good for one full year: August 2019 - July 2020.

New Fall Schedule
The new fitness schedule begins on Monday, 8/26 and goes through Thursday, 12/19.  Beginning Monday, 8/26, locations, times, and classes have changed for both fitness center and group fitness classes. Please view our fitness website for more details.

We also keep our events calendar up-to-date where we will announce any cancellations and include any location changes.  All fitness schedules are subject to change.  Please check both websites regularly.

All fitness programs are easily adaptable to meet all fitness needs and levels. Let our fitness center interns and group fitness instructors know how we can help.

Personal Training
Need motivation or a new workout regimen?  Check out our personal training program.  It is available in Phillips Hall 113 fitness center 11:30am-1pm and 4-6pm on Thursdays.  Norman Dexter is a certified personal trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine and a graduate student in the Kinesiology & Health department.  He is looking forward to helping you with your fitness goals. Please email healthandwellbeing@MiamiOH.edu to get started.

All Miami Benefits & Wellness fitness programs are free, at no-cost to all Miami faculty, staff (full and part time), graduate students with a valid Miami ID, as well as spouses on the health insurance plan. Plus you can participate at your primary campus or regional campus depending on what works best for your schedule.
