Position Forms Quick Start Guide

Click the link below to access position forms. They are protected by Miami's single sign on service. You may be prompted with a Duo request.


  1. To start a new form, click the New Case link from the toolbar on the left side of the screen.
  2. Once selected, a list of forms you can start will be listed in the center panel. Double click on the process you wish to begin. 

    Note: Each instance of a form is referred to as a case. Each case is given a unique number for tracking purposes. For example, if you need to change titles for three employees, you would create three cases from the Recommend Change form.

  3. Complete the fields in the form and select Approve at the end of the form.
  4. You will be asked to assign the Next User. The next user should be the next required approver. If you have any questions about who to select, please contact Human Resources or Academic Personnel.
  5. If you are selected as an approver, your inbox will display tasks. Cases cannot go on to the next approver until you approve your task. To open a task, double click.
