Liberal Education Council - Local Advisory Committee

The Office of Liberal Education is guided by the Liberal Education Council, a committee of University Senate.

Howe Center for Writing Excellence - Local Advisory Committee

The Howe Center for Writing Excellence (HCWE) Local Advisory Board is comprised of instructors, administrators, and librarians from departments across Miami that advise the HCWE Director on various initiatives of the center. In their capacity as the Global Miami Plan (GMP) Writing Committee, board members review applications for Advanced Writing courses and offer recommendations to faculty developing those proposals. Members of the committee in conjunction with writing experts from across campus have participated in writing and critical thinking assessments for the GMP to positively and measurably impact writing-related research, practice, and policy at Miami.
