Miami University offers courses on three campuses and one learning center in Southwestern Ohio, as well as a European center in Luxembourg. Miami's enrollment goals emphasize quality. For Fall 2012, there were 20,314 applicants for the Oxford campus freshman class; 3,734 new freshmen were enrolled, with the middle 50% of those students having ACT scores between 24 and 29. Due to small yearly variations in freshman yield and the number of students graduating, as well as changes in graduate enrollment, overall enrollment tends to fluctuate from year to year.
