On Sunday, December 2, 2018, the Miami University Police Department received a report from Anderson Hall staff that someone had burnt part of a paper display on a message board.  The paper is believed to have been burnt between the hours of 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 2. Details

On Saturday, November 17, 2018, the Miami University Police Department received a report from Anderson Hall staff that two small fires had been intentionally set on the third floor.  Police arrived to find evidence confirming two small fires had been intentionally set.  The fires are believed to have been set between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Details

On Friday, November 16, 2018, the MUPD received a report from Anderson Hall staff that a small fire had been intentionally set on the third floor.  Police arrived to find remnants of burnt paper and matches at the base of a residence room door.  The fire is believed to have been set at approximately 7:15 p.m. and was extinguished by a passerby without any further incident.  No injuries and minimal damage were reported.  If you have any information regarding this incident please contact the Miami University police at (513)529-2222.

McCullough-Hyde Hospital staff notified Miami University police on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 of a sexual assault reported to them by a female student. Fort Hamilton Hospital staff notified Miami University police on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 6:01 p.m. of a sexual assault reported to them by a female subject. Hospital staff said the female subject related that she was sexually assaulted by a male subject known to her at an off campus location in Oxford. The incident is believed to have occurred in the late evening hours of Monday, August 27, 2018.
