If you have previously taken classes at Miami University and you want to return to finish your degree, first complete the re-enrollment application on the One Stop website. It will take about 48 hours to process your request. After you receive an email stating that your re-enrollment has been processed, please make an appointment with one of the professional advisors.

Since you’ve been gone, there may have been some changes at Miami, but what’s stayed the same is our commitment to the success of our students. We aim to support, inspire, and empower you on your educational path. You have enormous potential to do great things - welcome back!

We have two online resources to help you reacclimate to Miami University Regionals:

  • We invite you to reacquaint yourself with Miami University by accessing the Returning Student Orientation on this Canvas Site. Click Join this Course in the upper-right hand corner of the page. This resource covers things that may have changed since you were last enrolled, such as technologies and campus services, and academic policies that may affect you.

  • We also want to help you stay on track for academic success, so access Academic Coaching Resources on this Canvas site. Then click Join this Course in the upper-right hand corner of the page. This resource will help increase your academic savviness, providing tips about time management, note taking, avoiding procrastination, test-taking strategies and more!

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your return to Miami University with an advisor, please contact Laurel Gilbert in the Regional Office of Academic Advising. We are excited for you to return and are here to support your success!
