CJS 451/251 Collaboration

Dr. Daniel Hall and Miami University students visit the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati to attend the Jum'ah (Friday prayer.) The students included Dr. Hall's  CJS 451, Comparative Justice Systems class and English Language Center (ELC) students enrolled in CJS 251, Global Justice Exploration. Also joining the Miami Regionals party were a few students from Professors Deanne Webster and Kay Hayes classes. In total there were more than 80 Miami students and professors in attendance. Faculty and students enjoyed lunch together with Dr. Baher Foad and Imam Shaikh Hossam Musa of the mosque. The CJS 451/CJS 251 collaboration is unique and only one way that JCS and the ELC work together to work to develop unique intercultural experiences for our students, domestic and international.
