Welcome to the TLC!

We offer both Face to Face and webcam appointments. Our offices are following all procedures that the CDC recommends to help keep us all safe.

WebCAM Tutoring 

What is WebCAM Tutoring? WebCAM Tutoring is the synchronous tutoring appointment that takes place over a WebCAM platform. Our office uses Google Meet most often. The tutor will send you a link to a Google Meet appointment at the time of the session. You are both online at the same time.  You will need to have a webcam, microphone, and speakers, as part of your computer for the appointment. If you would like to have an WebCAM Tutoring appointment with one of our tutors or mentors through Google Meet, please submit a request via the

WebCAM Tutoring Appointment Request Form.

 

inPerson Tutoring 

What is inPerson Tutoring? An inPerson Tutoring is an appointment is where the student meets with a peer or professional tutor in one of the TLC offices. To attend an inPerson Tutoring appointment, please submit a request via the

inPerson Tutoring Appointment Request Form.

 

WebCAM Peer Educating 

What is WebCAM Peer Educating ? WebCAM Peer Educating, formally known as WebCAM Peer Mentoring, is where the Peer Educator offers skills based learning, such as Time Management or How to succeed in a Remote Learning Environment. A more detailed list is given on the request form. is the synchronous appointment that takes place over Google Meet. The Peer Educator will offer skills based learning, such as Time Management or How to succeed in a Remote Learning Environment. A more detailed list is given on the request form. The Peer Educator will invite you to a Google Meet appointment. You are both online at the same time. You will need to have a webcam, microphone, and speakers, as part of your computer for the appointment. If you would like to have an WebCAM Educating appointment with one of our mentors through Google Meet, please submit a request via the

WebCAM Peer Educating Appointment Request Form.

 

inPerson Peer Educating 

What is inPerson Educating? inPerson Peer Educating, formally known as inPerson Peer Mentoring, is where the Peer Educator offers skills based learning, such as Time Management or How to succeed in a Remote Learning Environment. Email Writing Tutoring

Do you need help with a paper assigned for a Miami University Regionals class and are unable to schedule an inPerson Tutoring session through one of the TLC offices? You may want to submit your COMPLETED ROUGH DRAFT to be reviewed by an Email Writing Tutor.

Complete the

Email Writing Tutor Form.

and follow the instructions. If the paper meets the criteria for Email Writing Tutoring, you will receive your paperback within two (2) business days with tutor comments. (If not, you will receive an email referring you to our regular writing tutor inPerson services at our Middletown or Hamilton Tutoring & Learning Centers.) We are excited to offer this service and look forward to helping you strengthen your writing.
