SBS Petition Review Request

This form is to be used when you are requesting a DAR substitution for your PSS or ASO degree, for example: waiving the PSY 112 requirement because you had a 4-credit PSY 111, having a class count for the Miami Plan experiential learning requirement, or having a PSY 300-level course count toward your PSS major. Your petition should be accompanied with a clear reason for the petition, for example: relevance of the exception to your career or major, timeline to graduation, etc.

Please complete and submit the form below to request a petition review with the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Following the successful submission of your request you can expect to be contacted by Departmental Advisor within 2-7 business days and/or receive an approval or denial of your request.
