Program Launch/New Major

The marketing team plays an instrumental role in the rollout of new majors and programs. They offer valuable insight, have knowledge of the industry’s best practices, and have conducted benchmarking to assure plans for promotion are strategic, cohesive, and within brand standards. 

The collateral provided for marketing new programs or majors is contingent upon budgetary resources available, which marketing cannot furnish; however, the marketing team can collaborate on a funding request proposal for the Dean’s Office to consider. Typically, program and new major launches receive the following marketing collateral and the process takes approximately 10-12 weeks:

  • Webpage  
  • Print materials (i.e. postcards, sell sheet, one-pager) 
  • Media release 
  • Email 
  • Communication: Mailing to targeted populations 
  • Digital advertising 
  • Video production 
  • Signage (floor banners, digital screens)
  • Other needs as determined
