Using Miami's Self Service Portal to Install Applications on the Mac

To install applications on the Mac using Miami's Self Service Portal:

  1. Go to your Applications folder or Launchpad and click on "Self Service."
  2. In Self Service, click on "Application" in the right-hand column.
  3. Click on the application—such as Firefox—you wish to install.
  4. Click the "Install" button.
  5. Once installation is complete, you can find your application in the Applications folder and then drag a shortcut into the dock.

If you can't find the Self Service Portal, or you don't find the software you need in Self Service, please contact your technical support staff to request installation.
