College of Arts and Science Hughes Internships

Hughes Internships are available to Miami students, and are administered by the Departments of Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, and Microbiology, each of which establishes its own award criteria. Hughes Interns are appointed after Undergraduate Summer Scholarships are awarded to avoid redundancy.
Each internship lasts 10 weeks and provides $4,250, allocated as follows:

In 2017, 15 total internships were available, allocated as follows:
