Collin’s Law states that each institution shall provide students, as well as all staff and volunteers that advise or coach an organization and have direct contact with students, with an educational program on hazing awareness, prevention, intervention, and the institution's policy.

To begin training, follow these steps: 

  1. Please read the information found on the Hazing Prevention and Reporting page
  2. Access the Recognize and Prevent Hazing course
  3. New learners*—complete the Registration form at the bottom of the page.
    1. Enter your first name, last name, email address,
      Optional Field 1 = Role (Student, Faculty, Staff, Contractor, or Volunteer)
      Optional Field 2 = Department and click Register
    2. You will receive a welcome email with your username and a temporary password.
    3. Follow the link in the email to sign on.
    4. You will be prompted to: enter your temporary password; create a new password; and create and answer a security question.
  4. Once you are logged into the training, please complete the Recognize and Prevent Hazing course
  5. After completing the required course, you will receive an email containing a link to your completion certificate. Your history of completed courses can also be found under the “My Completions" tab.

Tips for Completing Courses

  • Pop-up blocker must be disabled for ue.blackboard.com.
  • Ensure your computer meets all System Requirements.

Need Assistance?

  • Anyone who has an existing Learning Portal login will need to be manually added to this course. Please contact Scott Walter for assistance.
