LSAMP Early Arrival Program

LSAMP (Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation) is a program funded by the National Science Foundation to increase the number of underrepresented STEM workers and graduate students.  The objectives of the Early Arrival Program are to teach the basics of scientific research and study methods that will help new students succeed at Miami University.  

All LSAMP Early Arrival Program attendees will participate in the MADE@Miami Conference.

Dates:

  • LSAMP Early Arrival: August 17-20, 2019
  • MADE@Miami Conference: August 20-22, 2019

The LSAMP Early Arrival Program is free for all LSAMP eligible participants and includes programming, housing and meals. Students accepted into this program must be pursuing a supportable STEM degree; from an ethnic group underrepresented in the sciences (African American, Native American, Hispanic, Native Alaskan or Pacific Islander); and be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
