Get Involved

We are always looking for new ideas for living learning communities that will foster student engagement and success. If you have ideas and/or suggestions for new communities for either first or second year students, we would love to hear them and help them come to fruition.

We are always looking for Stakeholders to serve on our LLC Advisory Councils. A Stakeholder is an individual (faculty, staff, student or community member) who works outside of the Office of Residence Life. These individuals serve on an Advisory Council that meets once a month to discuss their charge: to enhance the student experience, orchestrate and implement curricular and co-curricular efforts, and focus on issues dealing with the continuous evolution of the community.

Why should Faculty and Staff participate in Living Learning Communities?

  • Professional rejuvenation
  • Faculty development (content and pedagogy)
  • Opportunities for mentoring and small group interaction
  • Better understanding of students and current student issues
  • Professional development opportunity
