Office of the Vice President

The Vice President for Student Affairs leads the division of Student Affairs at an institution nationally recognized for its commitment to student-centered education and high levels of student involvement. Reporting to the President and serving as a cabinet member, the Vice President leads a division of over 150 employees and engages in strengthening a vibrant and future-oriented student affairs program. The Vice President is an active participant in all aspects of institution-wide planning and policy development.

The Vice President for Student Affairs provides oversight and strategic direction to all units in the Division of Student Affairs and works with student affairs leadership on Miami's regional campuses.

In conjunction with the senior leadership team, the Vice President engages with staff across the division and with student leaders in on-going efforts to enhance the quality of student life and realize Miami's vision of an environment in which the education of the whole student is a central value of the University.
