Monday, Sept 25

1) Rock Garden of Hope

Mindfulness & Contemplative Inquiry Center, 128 McGuffey Hall

Stop by between 10 AM - 2 PM (Opening Ritual at 10 AM). On rocks and stones, write your messages of hope to those who may be struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, and other mental health concerns. Proceeds will benefit the Trevor Project. Thanks to our partners: Mindfulness & Contemplative Inquiry Center, Women*s and LGBTQ* Center, Spectrum, Alpha Phi Omega.

2) THE BODY PROJECT Workshop

Participants must attend both classes on 9/25 and 10/2

6:00-8:00pm

THE BODY PROJECT is a fun and interactive body-acceptance based program. It’s designed to empower college-age women to resist unhealthy cultural pressures of female beauty. This program brings women together to create a supportive, empowered community while tearing down those social comparisons we often make about each other.

2:00pm (Onsite registration begins at 1:00)

Register to walk or to donate! Bead ceremony to honor those we have lost and survivors. Proceeds go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
