Student Opportunities

Leadership Development is a mix of learning and practice and Miami University provides an abundance of opportunities to do both. This learning and practice takes place in the classroom and in out-of-classroom experiences.

The Wilks Leadership Institute provides opportunities to enroll in leadership courses to provide formal structured learning experiences. The Institute also teaches leadership through workshops and conferences. These opportunities, along with involvement in athletics, student organizations, research, and social activities, complement your academic coursework and provide a holistic approach towards your leadership and personal development.

Select from our menu of opportunities to both learn about and practice your leadership. We can also help identify some of the other leadership development opportunities provided by our partners from across campus.
