Miami efficiency measures generate savings and revenue
Miami University has generated $130 million in savings and direct expenditures that benefit students during the past three years, nearly double its goal, according to a state-mandated efficiency report presented to Miami’s board of trustees Friday.

Students ponder visual representations of time with Jenann Ismael
On November 21, professor of philosophy at Columbia University Jenann Ismael addressed a large crowd in Shriver Center to give a special lecture titled "Visual Representations of Time: From Physics to Philosophy." Its purpose was to examine the role of pictorial representations in our understanding of time.

Associate Degree Latest Achievement for The Voice of the RedHawks
For 31 years, Steve Baker has been involved in broadcasting Miami athletics. The Voice of the RedHawks has broadcast Miami radio, television, and online programs for football, basketball, and volleyball. For the past six years, amid the long hours of traveling, preparing, interviewing, editing, and being on air, he has also worked to achieve a very special goal. This December he will receive his associate's degree in humanities from Miami.

Bias and diversity training required for employees
Miami University has long worked to be a welcoming and inclusive university. Following recommendations from a 2017-2018 Diversity and Inclusion Working Group and from universitywide forums following the One Miami Campus Climate Survey, Miami is implementing training on bias and diversity.
