MUbucks

Having an MUBucks account will help you manage and track your off-campus spending. Your MUBucks funds are accessed through your Miami ID. MUBucks can be spent at a variety of businesses in Oxford including restaurants and retail stores. Starting an MUBucks account makes you eligible for discounts, contests, and giveaways. Each MUBucks account remains active as long as it is used every six months.

Your MUBucks accounts is administered by Uptown Bucks LLC and is not managed or operated by Miami University.

Account Activation & Management

Whether you are starting a new account or have a question about an existing account, you can reach out to MUBucks in person, online, or over the phone. Cash, credit card, and check are accepted in person. Credit card and electronic check are accepted online. Credit card is accepted over the phone.

For Parents & Family Members

MUBucks makes helping your student manage their money as they transition to college life even easier. Deposits can be made online and you will receive an automatic email when your student’s balance drops below a certain level. Students cannot purchase alcohol with their MUBucks funds. Your student will have access to their funds throughout the entire year, including the summer.
