Australia: State of Victoria, Melbourne area, Gippsland Schools

Australia provides students with an opportunity to student teach in small towns and rural areas within close proximity to large urban areas and tourist attractions. Participants will teach in public schools in the Victoria region of Australia.

Costs and Grant Opportunities: 14-week program includes a two-week break. Spring semester only. Students must cover the cost of airfare to Australia, travel within the country, housing and food. Applications are available for a Student Teaching Abroad Scholarship offered through the College of Education, Health and Society. In addition, eligible students can apply for the university airfare grant to defray flight costs.
