US News Ranks Professional MBA Program in the Top 25

The U.S. News & World Report annual MBA rankings have placed Miami University’s Farmer School of Business in the Top 25 nationally for Part Time MBA programs. The 2018 rankings have Miami at 25th, an improvement of three spots from last year. For the sixth consecutive year, the Farmer School has the highest national ranking of any part time MBA program in SW Ohio. The rankings are based on a variety of factors, including peer assessment, admission selectivity, years of work experience prior to the program, and GMAT scores.
The Miami Professional MBA Program was launched in 2009 and has grown to a current enrollment of 125 students. Located in West Chester, the Miami MBA is a two-year program offered on weeknights for experienced professionals from a variety of industries and functional backgrounds. Using a cohort approach, the students build great network connections while learning from the various perspectives in the classroom. Historically, 82% of the MBA students graduate on schedule in two years, with 92% earning their degree within the five-year limit.
Matt Myers, Dean and Mitchell P. Rales Chair of Business Leadership, noted, “Reaching the Top 25 was a goal for our program, and it’s something to celebrate… and then get back to work. It is validation that the education we are providing to area professionals is of high value. That we achieved this honor while being highly selective in our admissions and being recognized by our peers are points of pride for our faculty, staff and graduates.”
