Farmer School grad's company named most innovative in Chicago area

November 2018

A Chicago company started by a Farmer School alumni has been named the most innovative company in the Chicagoland area.

Crain’s Chicago Business said that Narrative Science is tops for innovation for 2018 in their annual ranking of Chicago-area businesses. The company creates artificial intelligence software that turns data into stories that are more easily understood by humans, such as turning baseball box scores into written news stories or summarized financial data about investments into information for clients to read.

The company was founded in 2010 by Stuart Frankel, a 1987 accounting graduate. Click here to read more about Stuart’s journey since leaving Oxford!
