IT Community

35,000 individuals and hundreds of departments and offices supported.

IT Services represents centrally-provided technology infrastructure and support, but is only one part of the total Miami information technology community. We work with technology professionals and technology consumers across the University in a wide variety of formal and informal capacities. Those collaborations and partnerships form an interconnected web of committed people working to meet the technology needs of Miami’s faculty, students, and staff.

Some IT committees and groups recommend policy and advise the administration on community needs or concerns, while others foster subject matter expertise and networking opportunities.
