CEC starts Mentoring Program for female students
On Oct. 22, a new initiative called the CEC Women’s Mentorship Program was kicked off in Benton 100, where over twenty female students in CEC met with female Miami alumnae who are currently working in the field.

Museums Miami Center brings entities under one umbrella

The Council of Academic Deans approved the request to establish the interdisciplinary university center.

President Greg Crawford highlighted Miami's accomplishments of the past year and outlined the goals of MiamiRISE.Miami University's future lies as a "transformative university," a place where students create their own knowledge and serve as architects of their own education and future, President Greg Crawford said in his state of the university annual address.

Howe Center for Writing Excellence champions clear, concise and persuasive writers
Pulitzer Prize winner Mariel Padilla (Miami '17) learned the power of words in the Howe Center for Writing Excellence.Mariel Padilla learned how much power words can hold while a student consultant with the Howe Writing Center, part of the Howe Center for Writing Excellence (HCWE) at Miami University. She worked at the center on the first floor of King Library from her sophomore through her senior years.
