Dr. Campbell, Senior Director of Technology and instructor, was selected for his hard work and dedication to both CEC and the university as a whole. Over his past two decades at Miami, he has gone above and beyond in his position and his efforts to improve the IT department in CEC.
Congratulations to undergraduate Jordan Vest (junior) and team members Claudia Dawson (senior), Jessica Patrick (junior), Lauren Doepke (sophomore) and Zoey Siebert (sophomore) for being awarded a competitive $7200 award.
His dedication to his role has assisted the university in achieving consistent top ten rankings from the U.S. News and World Report for its distinguished undergraduate teaching, as well as national rankings for CEC.
Each year, the U.S. Department of Energy holds a Solar Decathlon, challenging college students to design and create energy-efficient buildings powered by renewable energy. Through this, students gain unique training for the workforce and are simultaneously educated in multiple aspects of energy efficiency.
This work illustrates a fundamental understanding of how mechanical stress affects the self-healing properties of polymers, and the potential for dynamic chemistry to be activated by mechanical forces.
