November 8 is First-Gen Celebration Day. The HWC is marking this special occasion by sharing the experiences of first-generation college students, both graduate and undergraduate, who now work with us in administrative and consulting roles.

McMillon-Brown completed her undergraduate degree at Miami, graduating in 2013 as a double major in manufacturing and mechanical engineering. After Miami, she attended Yale University and graduated in May of 2019 with a masters of science and a Ph.D in chemical engineering.
