Miami Chemical Society

The Miami Chemical Society is the department's official club for chemistry and biochemistry majors. They organize many events throughout the academic year including an annual trip to the national American Chemical Society conference.

Undergraduate Research

Organic Spectroscopy Website

Dr. Gung has put together a comprehensive site featuring many problems on the spectrometric identification of organic molecules that is widely used in our organic chemistry courses.

CHAMP

The Chemistry at Miami Mentoring Program (CHAMP) is designed to pair first and second year Chemistry and Biochemistry majors with department faculty in a mentoring relationship. The goal is to provide students with additional assistance and support within our department to help them succeed as Chemistry and Biochemistry majors.
