Miami Art Professor Receives PAAM Grant

Dana Saulnier is a recipient of the 2015 Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Foundation grant

SaulnierProfessor of Art Dana Saulnier was recently announced a winner of a 2015 Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Foundation Grant administered by the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. This national prize is awarded annually to American painters aged 45 or older.

The selection committee for this competitive grant includes Anna Stothart, the Brown Foundation Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the San Antonio Museum of Art in Texas; Christian Rieben, artist and faculty at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; and Nancy Princenthal, renowned New York based critic and former Senior Editor and current contributor to Art in America, and numerous other publications. In addition to a grant to support his work, Professor Saulnier's paintings will be featured in an exhibition at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) in the fall of 2016. Read more>>
