Experimental 'Open Source' Exhibition Features Miami Art Professors

The Carnegie in Covington, Kentucky opens its fall exhibition Open Source 1.1 on Friday, Sept. 7. In a new exhibition model for The Carnegie, a team of guest curators engaged with artists from the region to present objects and installations that will evolve over the course of the 2018-2019 season.
Miami Art Professor Annie Dell'Aria is one of the guest curators, and Professors Joomi Chung and Rod Northcutt have artwork in the exhibition.
Friday's event includes a reception from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. featuring work selected by the guest curators. A discussion with Gallery Director Matt Distel will take place at 6:00 p.m.
After the opening reception, exhibition gallery hours are Wednesday–Saturday, noon–5 p.m.
