Donald Ucci was awarded the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award

Donald Ucci, professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering, has been awarded the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ucci was honored by Marquis Who’s Who, the world’s premier publisher of biographical profiles, for his vast experience and his achievements in his field. His profile was selected based upon noteworthy accomplishments, position, and prominence in his field of work during the selection process.

Ucci has been teaching for 39 years at both Stony Brook University, Illinois Institute of Technology, and at Miami. He has held many roles during these years and helped develop new programs at each institution. Most notably, Ucci helped develop electrical engineering programs at Miami that later led to the creation of the department of electrical engineering.

As part of his recognition, Ucci has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Here readers can see all of Ucci’s achievements during his time teaching as well as past work experiences.

Ucci plans on continuing inspiring students with his knowledge of engineering with his continued role at Miami.
