In this feature piece, Riley helps explain how he choose to go into the paper science industry, and the experiences he has had so far at Miami and through internships. The article continues with examining the paper science program at Miami and how it helps develop and impact our students.
“It also let me step out of my comfort zone with unique career and networking opportunities that I would not have gotten in any other program. The paper science program was the reason I chose Miami University and it was the smartest decision I have ever made,” explained Docherty.
CEC is so excited that our outstanding paper program has been examined on a national scale, and we cannot wait to see how our paper engineering students impact the world in their future. To read more about Docherty’s interview and the paper engineering program at Miami, visit Riley's Interview.
