Campus Status - Spring 2021

  • Buildings on all of Miami’s campuses are open. Buildings around campus have signage to direct people where to enter and depart; it is important to note the specific protocols for each individual building.
  • At Miami University, we will continue to follow CDC guidelines, which reflect new science that shows the efficacy of the available vaccines. Please review and follow our new guidlelines for face coverings.
  • University facilities and operations have the right to refuse entry and services to those who do not wear face coverings.
  • Faculty, staff, and students are expected and visitors are strongly encouraged to perform a basic symptom assessment before coming to campus and may not come to campus if they are ill, have COVID-19 symptoms, or have a temperature over 100.4 F.
  • Classrooms, breakrooms, bathrooms, and public spaces are being cleaned and disinfected daily, and stations for hand sanitizers are positioned all around our buildings. Residence halls have their own cleaning protocols with increased cleaning in high-touch and common areas.
  • Our faculty have prepared a variety of formats for learning that enable students to make progress toward graduation and give opportunities for deep and engaged learning.
  • Move-in for our on-campus student residents begins the week of January 18.
