Two Farmer School graduates, Esther Ladipo and Allie Pearson (Engelhart), have been named to the Miami University Alumni Association’s latest group of 18 of the Last 9 honorees for 2020.
Ladipo, a 2017 marketing graduate, is an agency partner manager at Facebook, where she consults agencies on how to strategically leverage Facebook’s advertising best practices to help their clients grow and succeed. She is also CEO of Ranowo.org, a donation platform that enables people to easily donate items online to Black and Latinx communities in need.
Pearson, a 2015 marketing, entrepreneurship and interactive media studies graduate, is a senior brand manager on the North America Hair Care Team at Procter & Gamble, where she develops strategy for the Herbal Essences business. She and her husband volunteer at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and serve in different capacities within the Crossroads Church community.
“It’s incredibly gratifying to see the accomplishments and achievements of our alumni,” Kim Tavares, executive director of the alumni association, remarked. “We are proud to celebrate our 18 of 9 honorees each and every year, and this group of graduates is another impressive example of Miamians making a difference in an ever-changing world.”
Nominations for this annual event come from throughout the Miami community and celebrate alumni who have been recognized in their field, started businesses or nonprofits, or made a significant influence on a movement.
