FSB econ major earns Provost's Student Academic Achievement Award

A Farmer School student has earned a rare award from Miami University for his academic excellence.
Aaron Garner, a senior economics and vocal performance double major, is the third FSB student to ever receive the Provost's Student Academic Achievement Award. Given to only 10-15 students each year, the award recognizes students who have had an outstanding record of academic achievement and made significant contributions to the intellectual climate of a department, an academic division, or the Miami University campus.
A selection committee reviews nominations and awards students with a $1,000 scholarship and certificate of recognition, to be presented in August.
Joe Braun received the award in 2019, while Annie Weidner was an award recipient in 2017.
