Mike is no stranger to the Miami brotherhood. He finished his collegiate hockey career as a member of Miami’s Varsity Hockey team. While head coach for Miami Club Hockey, he led his team to a second place finish at the Club Hockey Nationals. He spent 5 years coaching Miami’s Varsity Hockey Team and has been a part of the Miami Summer Hockey School staff for over 30 years. In addition to his long history with the Miami hockey family, Norton is a USA Hockey coaching education instructor during the off season, coaches USA hockey camps, and served as an Assistant Athletic Director and Hockey Coach at Culver Academy.

Kevin played Jr. Hockey in the USHL with Fargo/Moorhead and the Chicago Steel. He developed into a DI player earning himself a scholarship to St. Lawrence University. Kevin played at SLU from 2001–2006 and started at Miami June 2006. He has coached ACHA Men’s hockey, high school and AAA hockey in the tri-state area along with overseeing Goggin Ice Center as the Senior Director.

Justin played goaltender during his collegiate years at John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH. Hhe has worked for Mitch Korn as Head Assistant Coach during the past five summer camps and within some capcity over the last 10 years. Justin has also been a goalie coach for the Miami Summer Hockey School program over the last seven years. He has spent the last three years as the programming intern and Head Coach for Miami Men's Club Hockey here at Goggin Ice Center. In the last two years, he has helped lead the club hockey team to two consecutive Final Four appearances at the national tournament.

Interns will help support the program and the coaches on the ice as well as assisting the players. Our interns all have playing experience beyond high school and typically have been involved in Goggin programming throughout their youth hockey career. On staff will be 1-2 interns rotating on two year appointments. These interns help coach Miami’s ACHA Men’s DII and Women’s DI & DII teams and are an integral part of the hockey staff. They also assist with the Miami Youth Hockey Jr. RedHawks Beginners, House and Travel programs.
The Miami University Goggin Ice Center is an auxiliary facility dedicated to meeting the diverse recreational needs of its patrons. The primary goal of the Goggin is to provide an environment that promotes and enhances wellness in the lives of Miami students, members and guests.
