Dr. Pete Haverkos is the Senior Assistant Dean of Student and Academic Success for Miami Regionals. Haverkos holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Xavier University, a Master of Science in College Student Personnel, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Student Affairs in Higher Education (both from Miami University).
Haverkos works alongside students and helps aid in their success whether as the advisor for Regional Student Government or in other programs involving students. Haverkos also is the chief student affairs officer on campus.
When Haverkos isn't on campus, he is spending time with his wife, Kim, his four children, Gabe, Abby, Hannah, and Norah, his four dogs and his two chickens. He also enjoys serving as the Co-Chair of the Parents Club at Oldenburg Academy in Indiana, as a board member of Downtown Middletown Inc, and as a volunteer at his kids' schools. Haverkos also enjoys cooking and other food-related hobbies and is an avid woodworker. He enjoys teaching woodworking here at the Regionals and is very proud of his students and the work they have done.
Haverkos enjoys working at Miami Regionals because of the commitment faculty and staff have for the success of the students. Haverkos loves being part of the communities here at the regional campuses and enjoys connecting with students.
