Jason Flick

Introduction

Jason Flick grew up in West Chester, Ohio and attended Bishop Fenwick High School. Jason graduated from Wittenberg University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science while playing four year of inter-collegiate baseball for the Tigers. Jason later obtained a Master of Science in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Jason has been employed as a police officer for the West Chester Police Department for 19 years. Over the last twelve years, Jason has been assigned as a Detective with the Special Investigations Unit conducting covert investigations involving narcotics offenses, human trafficking and violent crimes. Jason has been awarded numerous commendations throughout his law enforcement career, to include: the West Chester Police Department Police Chief's Commendation Award of Valor for a distinguished act of bravery during an officer involved shooting incident in 2007, Butler County Sheriff's Office Letter of Commendation for actions taken during a 30 hours hostage standoff in 2018, the West Chester Police Department Meritorious Service Award for investigative efforts related to a 2018 homicide investigation, and the 2020 Butler County Prosecutor's Office Meritorious Service Award for investigative efforts related to several high profile investigations. Jason instructs police officers throughout the state of Ohio on issues related to search and seizure, human trafficking investigations and search warrant preparation. Jason has been a member of the SWAT Team for 16 years and currently serves as the Sniper Team Leader and Assistant Team Commander.

Jason is married and has two daughters. Jason spends much of his free time coaching softball and basketball for his daughters, or rooting for the Bengals, Reds and Bearcats.
