Cincinnati Edition, an hour-long weekday program, went on the road March 7 for a show discussing the issues of aging. The program originated in the Athletic Performance Center adjacent to Miamis Yager Stadium. The program is a production of Cincinnati Public Radio, which operates the Miami University station WMUB as well as WVXU.
On Tuesday, March 6, Dr. Alan Lew from Northern Arizona University presented his lecture "Tourism and Global Consciousness" as part of the Critical Tourism course and public lecture series put on by the Department of Global and Intercultural Studies (GIC)
Society is in the midst of a serious health crisis, and its often an epidemic of our own making. On average, we tend to eat too poorly, stress too much, sleep too little, and exercise even less. These unhealthy behaviors all lead to whats collectively known as chronic disease and its the leading cause of death in America today.
