From the end of July to the beginning of August students in Engineers Without Borders (EWB) traveled to Munini, Rwanda to continue their work with sanitation efforts.
Besides having jobs and internships, our CEC students have the option to study abroad over their summer term. Ten students decided to follow this path and travel to Italy for this break.
Not only do our students learn within our classroom, but around the world. Miami prides itself on its study abroad programs that it offers our students.
While some students take classes or relax at home, 15 CEC students headed to Antigua, Guatemala to learn more about the country and how new engineering solutions can help the people who live there.
On Tuesday, October 23th, Engineers Without Borders (EWB) was recognized with the Education Award for their dedication to collaborative projects between engineers and students.
