Le Tour de Fitness Challenge

Do you want to add more fun, physical activity into your lifestyle? Need motivation and accountability? Our Le Tour de Fitness challenge is sure to help you with that and tap into your competitive streak. 

Le Tour de Fitness is a team-based challenge using minutes of physical activity per individual striving for at least 150 minutes each week. Each team can have 1 person up to 9 people registered. All teams (whether 1-9 persons) will have a chance to be a winner.

Every minute counts for physical activity; whether you’re in the garden, cleaning the house, chasing after little ones, or getting from point A to point B across campus.  Physical activity does not require being in a gym or fitness center, this challenge is inclusive of all ability. Another perk to this challenge is to find out what type of physical activity it is that gets you moving.  Do you need help with discovering this exciting side of you? Much like the Le Tour de France cycling race, this challenge runs 7/9-7/30.  On Monday each week, the Yellow Jersey Stage winner to the individual with most minutes logged will be announced.  Tuesday, 7/31, the team and individual jersey winners of the challenge will also be announced. We encourage you to get your teams together, develop a game plan, and get ready to race! Log into your Healthy Miami account to sign up or email Healthandwellbeing@MiamiOH.edu to get a paper log if you do not have an account.
