Announcement: The Board of Trustees has announced the visit of Dr. Gregory P. Crawford as the finalist for Miami's presidency. During the February 15-17 visit, Dr. Crawford will meet with several individuals and groups on the Oxford and regional campuses. The list of forums with Dr. Crawford is below and his CV can be viewed here.

- Open forum - Wed, Feb. 17 at 9:45 a.m., Oxford campus, Armstrong Student Center, Wilks Theater
Extramural Funding: During the month of January, faculty and staff were successful in efforts related to higher education in the state of Ohio.
- $93,242 from the Ohio Department of High Education (ODHE) for "Writing and Inquiry Stories to Explore Science (WISE)," led by Susan Hershberger (CHM).
- $109,117 from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) for "Positive Transformations for Ohio Schools: Building Statewide Positive Supports," led by Dawna Meehan (PSY) and Amity Noltemeyer (EDP).
- $49,500 as part of a subcontract with the University of Cincinnati from ODHE for "Enhancing Cooperative Education and Internships in SW Ohio," led by Michael Goldman (Career Services)
